NEW: Armed Home Invasion in Providence - Police Looking for Suspects

Providence Police are investigating an armed home invasion in the city on Friday afternoon.
It occurred on Whitford Street in the Mt. Pleasant section of Providence.
“We are looking for multiple suspects,” Providence Police Major David Lapatin said, adding that police believe a gun was involved.

Two rescues were sent to the home.
Lapatin said that victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the invasion.
