Shots Fired Into Providence Home - With Children Inside

Providence Police are investigating a report of shots being fired into a home.

There were juveniles inside the house at the time of the shooting, according to witnesses.

About Incident:

Shortly after 10 PM on Saturday, officers responded to Farragut Avenue in South Providence for a report of shots fired.

Police said that when they arrived, they found multiple spent shell casings in the street in front of the home.

According to police, there were two adults and two juveniles inside the first-floor unit, who said they heard multiple shots fired.

Police said one of the bullets entered a window and hit a ceiling; another bullet hit a couch and was found on the floor.

No injuries were reported, say police.
