Suspect in Shooting of Two Women in Providence Turns Himself In

The suspect in the shooting of two women in Providence on Tuesday turned himself in to authorities overnight.

According to police, Gabriel LaBoy, age 18, is expected to face multiple felony charges related to the incident on Ayrault Street, which left one victim in critical condition.

Providence Police are investigating a shooting in the city on Tuesday morning.

Two women were shot on Ayrault Street, between Chalkstone Avenue and Valley Street.

The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 AM.

“Two females were shot; one is in serious condition,” Providence Police Major David Lapatin told GoLocal.
