Two Women Shot in Providence on Tuesday

Providence Police are investigating a shooting in the city on Tuesday morning.

Two women were shot on Ayrault Street, between Chalkstone Avenue and Valley Street.

The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 AM.

“Two females were shot; one is in serious condition,” Providence Police Major David Lapatin told GoLocal.

“We are currently looking for a suspect,” said Lapatin.
