NEW: Over a Dozen Shell Casings Found After Shooting in Providence Overnight
Providence Police responded to a report of shots fired in the city overnight - and found over a dozen shell casings.
Officers responded to Salmon Street off of Manton Avenue shortly after midnight on Tuesday for the report of a shooting.
A witness told police they saw multiple masked individuals open fire at the location.
According to police, over a dozen spent shell casings and multiple bullets were discovered at the scene.
There were no victims reported.

As GoLocal first reported, two cars were involved in an incident after 3:30 AM on Sunday that left a car crashed into an apartment building and a man wounded.
Police found multiple gunshot holes in the car that was crashed into 300 Hartford Avenue — apartments owned by the Providence Housing Authority.
