On Thursday night, gunfire broke out on Federal Hill just after 8:30 PM.

The shooting took place near the corner of Spruce and Acorn Streets on the far side of DePasquale Square.

One man was wounded and taken by Providence Rescue to Rhode Island Hospital.

Presently, no one is in custody for the shooting.
