Providence Chaos: Shooting Involving Two Vehicles, Car Crashes Into Apartments, Man Shot and Hospitalized

 

Two cars were involved in an incident after 3:30 AM on Sunday that left a car crashed into an apartment building and a man wounded.

Police found multiple gunshot holes in the car that was crashed into 300 Hartford Avenue — apartments owned by the Providence Housing Authority.

 

Multiple shell casings were found on the scene.

 

Police found the man, who was believed to be wounded in the incident, had traveled more than a block away to Cleveland Street. The Providence Fire Rescue responded to that location.

 

The man was taken by the EMTs to Rhode Island Hospital.

 

Providence detectives are investigating the shooting.
