Extraordinary Women Of The East Bay: An Exhibition Of Images, Artifacts And Biographies at Linden Place Mansion
Visitors of all ages are invited to Linden Place Mansion this March and the Edward King House in April to view a special exhibition that recognizes and celebrates sixty women who have made a difference in their communities - Barrington, Bristol, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Warren.

The Song of Summer at Trinity Rep
Lauren Yee’s new play The Song of Summer was commissioned by Trinity Rep and written for the company’s resident actors. Yee was the winner of the National Arts Club’s 2017 Kesselring Prize and was awarded the 2018-19 Hodder Fellow at Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts.
In addition, she was a finalist for the 2018 Edward M. Kennedy Prize for Drama and the 2018 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
Her play introduces us to a pop icon who abandons his concert tour to return to his hometown where he will make discoveries that change his career and life.

The market opens at 8:30 a.m. and remains open until 12:30 p.m.

Femmes of Rock at Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre
The only string act of its kind, these beautiful women will rock you with blistering solos and unique arrangements of hits from Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Prince, The Beatles and more.
They’ve performed with the likes of Beyoncé, Shakira, and Andrea Bocelli, and appeared on America’s Got Talent.

Tour De Patrick in North Kingstown
The Tour De Patrick is a three-part 5K race series in Rhode Island over the month of March where runners and walkers can run/walk and accumulate their times and score in the overall Tour De Patrick in addition to scoring at each individual race.

Taco Classical 6: Beethoven Violin Concerto at Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS)
The RI Philharmonic welcomes conductor Francisco Noya and violinist Jennifer Frautschi for the sixth TACO Classical Series performance of the 2018/19 Season.

St. Patrick's Day Glass Making at Gather: Glass Blowing Studio
Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend by making a drinking glass at Gather Glass.
Anyone signing up for the drinking glass class that weekend will have the option to make a larger beer glass at no extra charge.
Participants will roll their molten glass into their color, shape their glass with special glass blowing tools, blow air into their glass and work closely with the instructor to bring your glass to its final perfect shape.
Glass making goes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Vox Hunters At Old Time Lounge at Nick-a-Nees
The Old Time Lounge is a monthly Intermediate/Advanced Old Time music session, occurring every third Sunday, hosted by your friendly Rhode Islanders: Armand Dale Aromin, Benedict Gagliardi, Michelle Kaminsky, and Alan Bradbury.
Because it is St. Patrick's Day, you'll be sure to enjoy some classic Irish tunes.
