The 2nd RI Festival Honoring Les Paul at Parlor Bar & Kitchen
A unique concert and educational event celebrating the legacy of Les Paul, featuring an incredible combination of guitars and other ephemera from his personal collection, along with performances by noted RI area artists using them on stage.
Confirmed acts at press time are Dopey Lopes with his Up All Night Band, The BickerSins, The Rockingham Express featuring Rick Santos and Johnny Edwards, Bird and Horse, The Dirty 5, The Debutantes and Luis Mateos - Solo Cash.
The event begins at 8 p.m.

Black Ships Sushi Sake Sail at Goat Island Marina
Sail aboard one of the magnificent Tall Ships, the 101′ Schooner Aurora.
View Newport harbor as you sip sake from Gekkeikan, and sample some great sushi.
Space is limited to 68 people. A sellout every year.

Bring a picnic & blanket to spread on the lawn or reserve centerfield Pavilion seats. Entering its 28th season, audiences of several thousand attend the weekly contests, one of Newport’s most popular summer attractions, a Gilded Age tradition, open to the public.
