Newport Gulls vs Danbury Westerners at Cardines Field
The Newport Gulls return to Cardines Field to take on the Danbury Westerners.
The Gulls are currently 20-15 on the season and in second place in the division.
The Westerners are 17-18 overall.
Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.

Newport Folk Festival at Fort Adams
The Newport Folk Festival, founded by George Wein in 1959, takes place on the grounds at Fort Adams State Park and features four stages of world-class musicians, food, vendors and a number of exhibits. Fort Adams is located at 90 Fort Adams Drive, Newport. One of the park system’s national treasures, Fort Adams is situated at the mouth of Newport Harbor with panoramic views of the Newport Bridge and the East Passage.
The festival runs rain or shine.

Save the Bay Swim at Naval Station Newport
Swim, kayak or volunteer for Save The Bay’s largest annual fundraiser as 500 swimmers and nearly 200 kayakers trek 1.7 nautical miles across the Bay to raise money and awareness in an effort to protect and restore the Narragansett Bay and its watershed. Be a part of something big.
Find yourself at the Swim this July.

Common Burying Ground Guided Tour
The focus of the tour will be stones carved in the 1700s, many from the Stevens shop. A highlight of the visit will be God's Little Acre, the largest collections of gravestones for people of African heritage in Colonial New England.
