Newport Winter Foodies Stroll
Cozy up this Winter and enjoy a three-course meal accompanied by selected wine pairings at three of Newport's exquisite restuarants.
The stroll will last several hours along Newport's Historic Thames Street and will encompass a total of .75 miles.
The stroll begins at 5:30 p.m.

Cozy Cocktails by the Fire at The Vanderbilt Grill
Head to Vanderbilt Grill each evening for s’mores, cocktails and warm blankets! Brave the cool, Winter air in the garden, while sipping signature cocktails and roasting marshmallows over the fire.
The event goes from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Bit Players at Firehouse Theater
Come see RI's most award-winning comedy troupe as they hit the stage with their hilarious improv comedy show full of larger than life characters, hysterical musical numbers, and the quickest wit you'll ever see. Inspired by audience suggestions, no two shows are ever the same
The show begins at 8 p.m.

Ayurvedic Bodywork Specialist Program at SAMA
Students will become proficient as a “hands-on healer” using the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic healing principles and touch therapy systems to help remedy the stress of today’s world.
Students will learn the foundations of medical Ayurveda, how to access and classify pain, find specific pain remedies, specific applications of oils, poultices, thermo and hydrotherapy, healing muds/pastes, marma pressure points, herbal potions and the anointing of other therapeutic substances on the body.
The program begins at 12 p.m.
Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Find your best green attire, keep your eyes open for leprechauns, and join in the revelry to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Newport.
The parade kicks off from the Newport City Hall and runs through Washington Square, down Thames Street, and ends at St. Augustine's Church.
The Parade will begin at 11 a.m.

Newport Irish Heritage Month
A celebration of "All Things Irish," including the 63rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, Saturday, March 16.
Enjoy traditional Irish music & dance, food, tours, lectures and more.
Irish Eyes Exhibit at Spring Bull Gallery
Through landscapes, quaint cottages, castles, the pounding surf of the Irish Sea and the hues of the lush vegetation and a beer or two Ireland will be depicted on the walls of Spring Bull Gallery by artists.
So even if you are not Irish, you are invited in for a wee bit of fun and to enjoy the incredible sites of Ireland without leaving home.
The exhibit is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Traditional Irish Music Session at Fastnet Irish Pub
Live traditional Irish music every Sunday night, hosted by A. O. Gutierrez, Tim May and Jack Wright. Family-friendly- arrive early to secure a table if you plan on eating.
The concert begins at 6 p.m.
Redecoration Sale - Award Winning Cliffside Inn
The current owners of Cliffside Inn have sold the business to a luxury hotel group. While the new owners will be keeping some of the items within the inn ( artwork, smalls and most armoires and chests will not be available at this sale ) they will be redecorating thus making 16 elegantly decorated rooms available for this sale.
The event begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m.
Newport Seal Watch Tour at Save the Bay
Save The Bay seal tours and nature cruises prove that summer isn’t the only time to enjoy the Bay.
Join them aboard one of our education vessels as we motor through historic Newport Harbor and take in 360º views of seals resting on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge. Save The Bay provides binoculars, and expert guides offer an educational view of our winter marine visitors and the habitat they love.
