Persistence Of Vision: 65 Years Of Drawings & Prints By Ilse Buchert Nesbitt at Third & Elm Press

This exhibition includes never before seen early drawings of travels in Germany, Norway and Greece by German-born Newport artist/printmaker, Ilse Buchert Nesbitt, as well as later prints from Newport/Aquidneck Island and beyond that show the remarkable trajectory of her 65-year career in art making.

Foundation of Taste: Caviar and Eggs at Cara at The Chanler

Introducing Foundation of Taste: a revamped Tasting Series at Cara. Our Foundation of Taste events are interactive, focused explorations of ingredients and preparation. 

Combining learning, tasting and discussion, the afternoon will be spent discussing the special nature of eggs, the luxurious history of caviar and how champagne is a natural match for both. Three dishes will be served throughout the event with champagne to accompany each dish.
