8 Bells Lecture Series at Fort Adams 

Join the Naval War College Museum at the McMacken Community Center at Fort Adams for the 8 Bells Lecture Series-- We will explore military and maritime history topics during our noontime lectures which take place on the first Thursday of the month, October-June.

All lectures are free and open to the public. No reservations are required.

The lecture goes from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Extensions Dance Company Presents "Verve" at Casino Theatre

Salve Regina University’s Extensions Dance Company, directed by associate professor Lindsay Guarino, will present Verve at the Casino Theatre. 

Lindsay Guarino will present Sidewinder to the upbeat 1964 Lee Morgan jazz standard of the same name. The piece will be performed to live music by Salve Regina’s Jazz Combo, led by Peter Davis and Michael Johnson.

The Newport Music Festival is proud to present the award-winning European ensemble Calmus. This a cappella singing group continues to amaze audiences with their variety of repertoire and amazing virtuosity. A perfect blend of sound, precision, lightness and wit.
