2-Month-Old in Car Stolen in Providence

Providence Police responded to a report of a stolen car in the city on Saturday -- with a two-month-old child in the vehicle. 

According to police, a man and woman went into a Cumberland Farms on Branch Avenue in the city around 1:30 PM.

When they came out, their car was gone -- along with their 2-month-old inside.

Child and Car Recovered

After being alerted to the car theft and kidnapping, police were then called by the manager of the U-Haul facility down the street to say a two-month-old was dropped off at their property.

The vehicle was then recovered by police on Job Street.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
