Unequivocal Voices at Rosecliff
The Island Moving Company’s Artistic Director Miki Ohlsen will curate & present the premiere of a new work by Shane Farrell along with a selection of curated pieces from IMC’s repertory by Miki Ohlsen, Danielle Genest, Tina Kay Bohnstedt, Francis Ortiz and Ted Thomas.
Join in for this beautiful performance with a celebration toast and an intermission catered by Russell Morin Catering & Events with an open bar in the salon of Newport’s most romantic mansion.

Dr. Markward Music Appreciation Lecture Series at Redwood Library
Dr. Edward Markward, former Music Director of Rhode Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra, examines various musical periods throughout history and presents pieces highlighting each era.
Sunday’s lecture will be on Late Romanticism in Germany and Austria.
It will feature the music of Brahms versus Wagner.

Middletown Historical Society 2020 Winter Lecture Series at Middletown Historical Society
Over the years, Middletown Historical Society has run a series of lectures, during the winter months, usually of historic topics.
This year the Society decided to have lectures from our town officials.
These fireside chats (sorry no actual fireplaces) are meant to help answer questions from residents and give the town officials a chance to inform the residents of any changes, explain procedure, etc.
Sunday’s lecture will be by Will Cronin of Middletown Trash and Recycle.
