Bubblemania at Newport Marriott Hotel
A fascinating show filled with tricky manipulations and juggling with bubbles.
With plenty of comedy for all ages. BubbleMania is loaded with visual comedy, quick wit, big band swing music and the untamed, often unbelievable qualities of spherical liquids.
This is not a show intended to keep a 2-year-old engaged; this is a bubble show to keep the 5 to 85 year-olds mesmerized.

Colonial Newport Lantern Tour at Museum & Shop at Brick Market
Friday is the final day of the Colonial Lantern Tour.
Let Newport history tours’ guide you to the city’s five centuries of American history, including the colonial era.
All tours depart from the Museum of Newport History & Shop.
The tour goes from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Newport Winter Festival is back for the 32nd consecutive year.
The festival features over 150 events, including live music from "Changes in Latitudes," a chili cook-off, face painting and much more.

Rose Island Winter Wonderland Tours at Rose Island
Start your journey off in Starfish, a 32' lobster boat captained by Brian Tefft, the Executive Director, for a unique harbor tour on the way to Rose Island. Once on Rose Island, your guided tour will include the lighthouse, Fort Hamilton barracks, and recent historic discoveries not shared with the public before.
Sip hot chocolate and enjoy Grandma Curtis' sugar cookies on the way back to the Newport Shipyard.

Washington’s Birthday Celebration at Redwood Library
The Rhode Island Society Sons of the Revolution will be celebrating the birthday of General and President George Washington.
The ceremony will take place at the south side of the Library where the copy of the Houdon statue of the great leader is located.
There will be a short program along with a wreath-laying to mark the event.

Beach Polo at 2nd Beach in Middletown
The exciting two-day polo exhibition will take place during low tide on Sachuest Beach (locally known as 2nd Beach), 315 Sachuest Point Road, Middletown, RI. Beach parking and admission are free.
Spectators are asked to bring donations of non-perishable dry-goods, toiletries, or household items for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. MLK Center volunteers will collect donated goods at the Beach Pavilion located in the main parking lot.
