PC vs #6 Butler at Dunkin' Donuts Center
The Providence College Friars men’s basketball team has won four straight games, including 3-0 in the Big East.
On Friday night, PC hosts #6 Butler at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in an early-season battle for first place in the conference.
Game time is set for 9 p.m.

This original play, making its Providence debut, captures a Kiev family’s agonizing decision in 1976 to flee the Soviet Union for the United States.
Based on the life of playwright Bena Shklyanoy, “How Many Bushels Am I Worth?” marks close to five decades of Soviet-Jewish immigration to America.

Brian Beaudoin and comics Derek Furtado, Ray Harrington, Andrew Williams are part of the Hardcore Comedy Show that features 6-7 of top headliners and pro comics each week.
What is the difference between this and another show? According to the Comedy Connection, the Hardcore Comedy Show is "dirtier" than a normal show...and "rowdier."

If knitting is your thing, check out this even in one convenient and very historic location: 30 fiber producers, farmers, dyers, spinners, and vendors from all over New England convene at the 1793 Old Slater Mill in Pawtucket over two days for the annual Knitting Weekend Fiber Market.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
