Festive Igloo Pop-Up at Gurney's Newport Resort
Snag that perfect Instagram photo and cozy up in one of our heated igloos overlooking the Narragansett Bay.
Each igloo has its own theme, from Santa’s Workshop to a cozy Log Cabin, Roaring '20s, Harry Potter, Astrology and Après Ski, complete with its own design, activities and cocktail pairings.

37th annual Jamestown Winter Bird Count at Jamestown Police Station
Kick start the new year by participating in the 37th annual Jamestown Winter Bird Count.
Participants will meet at the Jamestown Police Station.
Birders will split into teams to cover four main areas of the Island until noon with an optional afternoon portion as well.
As is the tradition the Pink Flamingo will go home with the birder who finds the best bird of the day.
The event goes from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Pianos at Top Of Pelham
Dueling Pianos is a fun, live music concept that is perfect for your party, wedding reception, corporate event or night on the town! The players provide a lively, interactive show which appeals to audiences of all ages and musical tastes. Songs can range from classic crooners all the way to today’s pop hits (with pretty much everything in between!).
Better still, the set list is request-driven so the audience is able to steer the show to their liking with no two shows being exactly the same. The players will even get guests on stage and involve them in the “shenanigans”! This is surely an event that will be remembered.

Open House at Winter Indoor Arena at Newport Polo
Newport Polo is pleased to announce that it is opening the largest and newest Indoor Professional Equestrian Facility within 100 miles for winter polo training starting in January 2020.
Located off I-195 along the RI/MA state line, 20 minutes north of its current Portsmouth facility, the private indoor facility includes a 36-stall, dual isle barn complex attached to a 260' x 100' indoor riding arena.
