Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone at Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket
Peter Noone achieved international fame as “Herman,” lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits.
Noone’s classic hits include “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “There’s a Kind of Hush,” and “Listen People.”
The concert begins at 8 p.m.

When she isn’t collecting hotel soaps while on tour or panel-ing on NPR’s #1 show, Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!, Paula hosts the popular Maximum Fun podcast, Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone.
"Nobody" is a comedy field guide to life complete with taste tests, cats of the weeks and leading experts in everything from beekeeping to ping pong to prosopagnosia.

Hotel Week RI at Various Hotels Across State
Many of Rhode Island's top hotels are featured in the first-ever “Hotel Week RI.”
Launched by Visit Rhode Island, “Hotel Week RI” will take place from January 18-31, 2020 and feature four “prix fixe” rates of $100, $200, $300 and $400 per night at hotels across the state.
Newport hotels that are featured include the Hotel Viking, The Attwater, and Gilded, as well as, Wyndham Newport, Hampton Inn & Suites, and the Howard Johnson Inn.
Other Rhode Island hotels featured include the Ocean House on Watch Hill for $400 per night, the 1661 Inn on Block Island for $200 per night, the Graduate Providence for $100 per night and much more.

Bryant Basketball vs Long Island at Chace Athletic Center on Bryant's Campus
The Bryant Bulldogs men’s basketball team returns home to host Long Island on Saturday afternoon.
Bryant is currently 9-8 on the season and 1-3 in the Northeast Conference.
Game time is set for 4 p.m.
