Edgar Winter at Greenwich Odeum
The Edgar Winter Band is playing at the Greenwich Odeum on Friday Night.
Winter is best known for his # 1 charting hit single “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride” from his 1973 release They Only Come Out at Night, which stayed on the Billboard Hot 200 chart for an impressive 80 weeks peaking at # 3.

Join Director of Horticulture Fred Perry for a walk through the Arboretum to admire Blithewold’s prized tree collection.
Perry will talk about a variety of examples from our unique collection on the educational and enjoyable walk.

WaterFire Providence
Don’t miss out on the first WaterFire of the season on Saturday night in Providence.
A full WaterFire is a multisensory experience that has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city. This series of bonfires, installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence, entices with aromatic wood smoke, flickering firelight, and enchanting music.
Lighting starts at sunset.

No crafts, jewelry, clothing, furniture, pottery, or functional items.

Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett Country Club
Head over to Wannamoisett Country Club to watch some of the best amateurs in world compete in the Northeast Amateur.
Players include former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, University of Texas star Cole Hammer, as well as, locals such as Patrick Welch and Davis Chatfield.
The tournament is free to attend.

The Rhode Island Chapter of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard (RI-EANGUS), and platinum sponsor Ocean State Job Lot, invite members of the community to participate in the First Annual Soldiers & Airmen Rhody 5k Run/Walk at Quonset Air National Guard Base.
The event will directly benefit members of the Rhode Island National Guard and their families.
