Verdant Vibes Spring Festival at Southside Cultural Center
New music collective Verdant Vibes presents a program of acoustic and electronic music, movement, and visual art: works by Michael Boyd, Hollie Buhagiar, Ryan Carter, Gabrielle Cerberville, David Crowell, Inti, and Edna Alejandra Longoria.
The event begins at 8 p.m.

Midtown Men at Stadium Theatre
THE MIDTOWN MEN reunites Stars From The Original Cast of Broadway’s Jersey Boys, making them the first vocal group ever formed by the principal cast of a high-profile Broadway show. After sharing the stage for over a thousand performances, Tony® Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony® Award nominee J. Robert Spencer decided to take their signature sound and chemistry to audiences everywhere, bringing to life their favorite 1960s hits.

Marisol at Trinity Rep
The season will close with José Rivera’s Marisol. The Obie Award-winning play was first produced in 1992. Its themes remain relevant to contemporary audiences trying to make sense of a world they don’t recognize.
The fantastical and surreal story centers on Marisol Perez’s attempt to find hope among the ruins when she wakes up one day to find her reality displaced by the effect of a war between God and the angels.

Gallery Night at Blackstone Valley Tourism Council
2019 is here and it’s time for @FilmmakerDave's first Gallery Night of the year.
There will be music, food, slideshows, live music, raffles and art for sale.

Calling All Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts - explore the Zoo after the gates have closed during Scout Safari Night! Enjoy tours of the John J. Palumbo Veterinary Hospital, music and dancing, the opportunity to make enrichment for the animals, become a mad scientist, and much more - all while completing a variety of badge requirements.

The messiest game show on TV is now the messiest game show on the road.
All the Slime soaking, pie plastering, and booger busting will be hosted by the Double Dare legend himself Marc Summers.

Isolation Exhibit at Skye Gallery
Skye Gallery in Providence has announced its May exhibit titled “Isolation.”
“A visual exploration of our growing sense of isolation—fed by the trend toward social affinity to protect our overly important yet fragile identities, the role of technology in our lives, a grossly divisive political discourse, and general disconnection from the earth - by seven area artists ranging in age from 22 to 72,” writes the gallery in their press release.
The exhibit will be on display through May 27, 2019.

Outdoor Providence Flea at the Providence River Greenway
After last week was rained out, Sunday will serve as opening day for the Outdoor Providence Flea.
The Flea has the area's best local vintage vendors, artists, and makers, plus community nonprofits, food purveyors and food trucks, and live musicians! Always free with free on-street parking.
The Flea opens at 10 a.m.
