NEW: PC Basketball Gets Commitment From Top-100 Recruit Alpha Diallo
Tuesday, April 26, 2016
The Providence College men's basketball program has received a commitment from Alpha Diallo, a 6'6" wing player from Brewster Academy. This is PC's second commitment in the last 7 days.
Diallo is ranked 95th in ESPN's Top 100 for the Class of 2016. Last summer, Diallo played with the Colorado Hawks on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit where he averred 13.7 points, 6.8 rebounds per game in 12 games.
Diallo also played for team Africa in the Adidas Nations where he averaged 20.5 points and 10.7 rebounds in six games.

2016-17 Roster Taking Shape
Diallo joins guard Maliek White and junior college transfer Emmitt Holt as part of the Friars incoming recruiting class for the 2016-17 season.
PC also has Isaiah Jackson, a transfer from George Mason eligible to play next season after he sat out this past season.
Providence is waiting on a decision from Ben Bentil, who remains in the NBA Draft but could return as he did not hire an agent.
The Friars are currently out of scholarships, meaning in order to bring someone else in, Bentil has to go to the NBA or another player will have to leave.
Junior Lomomba left the program last week (April 21) in search of other opportunities.
