Friars Soccer Downs Dartmouth 3-0, Advances to Third Round

The Providence College Friars men's soccer team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 3-0 on Sunday night at Ray Treacy Field on the Providence College Campus. The win sends the Friars to the third round of the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.
Mac Steeves got the Friars on the board early in the second half to put Providence up 1-0. Later in the half, Dominik Machado added two more goals for PC to give them a 3-0 win and seal the NCAA tournament round two victory.
The win is the Friars 14th of the season, which ties a program record and Keasel Broome recorded his seventh shutout of the season between the pipes.
