Bring Your Own Improv Family Friendly Comedy Show
Bring Your Own Improv is in its 9th season at the Warwick Museum of Art. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation.
The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

Time Capsule 13 Year Anniversary Sale
The Time Capsule in Cranston is celebrating their 13 year anniversary with their annual mega sale starting on Saturday and running until October 28.
The store opens at 11 a.m.

Halloween Iron Pour at The Steel Yard
The display of industrial arts brings in over 1,000 people including artists, fabricators, families, and friends. The event begins at 5 p.m.
Along with the numerous steel and iron props that are built, there will also be live local music and food.
In the past the Steel Yard has used liquid iron and the heat of flame to create ferociously erupting volcanoes, Viking funerals, and bubbling and brewing scientist labs before the eyes of the crowd.

International Archaeology Day at Brown University
In celebration of International Archaeology Day, the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World and the Archaeological Institute of America (Narragansett Society) are holding an open day at Brown University.
Families, community members, and students are invited to learn about Egyptian artifacts, Roman pottery, human and animal bones, underwater archaeology, and more in Rhode Island Hall.
The event goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is FREE.

Styx at Twin River
The show begins at 8 p.m.
Styx is best known for combining the style of pop rock and hard rock with the power of a hard rock guitar.
The Chicago based group has five consecutive albums certified multi-platinum by the RIAA along with 16 top 40 singles in the US, 8 of which climbed inside the top 10.
They are known for songs such as "Lady", "Come Sail Away", "Babe", "The Best of Times," Mr. Roboto" and many others.

The Hope Street Farmers market takes place at Lippit Park starting at 9 a.m. on Saturdays.

Brown Football vs. Cornell at Brown Stadium
The Brown Bears football team will look to snap a four game losing streak when they host Ivy League rival Cornell at noon on Saturday.

H.P. Lovecraft Walking Tour and Film Screening
The tour begins from the John Brown House at 52 Power Street in Providence.
See the site of his former home, as well as the sights mentioned in The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, The Haunter of the Dark, The Shunned House, and The Call of Cthulhu. Lovecraft's own words offer a most amazing literary, historical, and architectural walking tour.

Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of Baskervilles at The RISE Playhouse
This is the final day of the show.
Based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Hound of Baskervilles tells the story of detective Sherlock Holmes and his attempt to stop the evil that awaits Sir Henry Baskerville.
Admission ranges from $16 to $20.
