The Newport Gulls only have a few more games left before they begin another playoff run.
The Gulls are at Cardines field tonight to take on Vermont.
First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.

Award Winning Improv Comedy with The Bit Players
Get over to Firehouse Theater at 4 Equality Park Place in Newport to watch the award winning improv comedy of The Bit Players.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and is BYOB.

Newport Folk Festival
Newport Folk weekend is finally here. This year, the Festival welcomes dozens of top acts including Patti Smith, Ray LaMontagne, Norah Jones and Elvis Costello. Music begins at 11AM at Ft. Adams State Park starting today with over 50 artists scheduled. Wear some sunscreen, be patient in traffic and respect thy neighbor. That’s all you need to do enjoy the top music attraction of the year!

Great Friends Dance Festival
Saturday is the final day of the great friends dance festival at the Great Friends Meeting House. Head over to check out unique performances every single evening that will keep you wanting more.
Saturday events begin at 7:30 p.m.

The final day of the 10th Annual Newport Antique show is set for Sunday at the Newport Historical Society. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year's show will feature exhibit vignettes entitled Curating the Future: Trends in Collecting Todaypresented by the Newport Historical Society.

Newport Music Festival
The Newport Music Festival will take place at The Breakers at 8 p.m. and will feature unique chamber music, programs, american debuts and much more.

Summer 16 Showcase
Anchor Bend Glassworks unveils their newest work at the Newport Gallery. The gallery is open rom 10 a..m. to 5 p.m.
These conversation pieces show the pride the artists take in their home state of Rhode Island, while also portraying their own unique spin on glassblowing. Creating exceptional glass for 13 years, Michael Richardson, Justin Tarducci, and Timothy Underwood continue to honor and expand the art of glassblowing and give back to the Newport community.

Return to Camelot - The Kennedy Wedding Remembered
Along with its mansions and America's Cup yachting history, Newport is known as the resort city where Jaqueline Bouvier married then Senator John F. Kennedy on September 12, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Spring St. in Newport.
