Summer may officially be over, but there is no shortage of fun events going on in Rhode Island this weekend.
Events include the Broadway hit "Wicked" at PPAC, Brown football hosting Harvard, and the final weekend for both Design Week RI and the Pawtucket Arts Festival.

What happened in the Land of Oz before Dorothy got there?
Learn the story of the witches of OZ who formed the unlikeliest of friendships before the world decides to call one witch "good" and the other "wicked."

Bring Your Own Improv Family Friendly Comedy Show
Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season at the Warwick Museum of Art. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation.
The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

Food Truck Friday
It's Food Truck Friday at Roger Williams Park Zoo at Carousel Village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Enjoy great food, live music and a beer garden tonight and every Friday until October 28.
The event is free to attend, but there are nominal fees to ride the carousel, participate in pony rides, or to enjoy the bounce house.

Harvard vs. Brown at Brown Stadium
The Brown Bears football team is coming off a huge come from behind win over in-state rival Bryant University and now they host Ivy League rival Harvard at 2 p.m.
The Crimson have won the last five games over the Bears.

International Octoberfest
The 24th Annual International Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, September 24 from noon to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, September 25 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Alex and Ani City Center in Providence.
The festival will feature Biergartens serving over 50 brews as well as full bars for those who prefer cocktails and other drinks. There will also be German offerings from a variety of food trucks and live bands playing Bavarian music and other international influences like reggae, Latin, and surf rock grooves.

This is the final weekend to enjoy Design Week RI.
Design Week RI partners with individuals and organizations to bring more than 35 events including speakers, tours, lunches, panel conversations, parties, awards and more.

Lobster Boil to Benefit Culinary Dreams
Hope & Main and the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Culinary Federation are presenting a three course Lobster Boil fundraiser on Sunday.
Guests will be able to bid on New England-themed silent auction picnic baskets containing Hope & Main-made products and gift certificates from local restaurants. The night will end with a dessert buffet of Hope & Main member companies’ cupcakes, toffee, cookies, pie, macarons, truffles, and biscotti. Live music provided by Warren-based Beatles tribute band Marmalade Skies. The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in the Schoolyard of Hope & Main, 691 Main Street in Warren, RI.
Proceeds from the event create opportunities for young chefs and food entrepreneurs to pursue their culinary dreams.

Pawtucket Arts Festival
The final weekend of the Pawtucket Arts Festival is here. This is your last chance to check out some cool at.
The festival celebrates creative and cultural life in the City of Pawtucket by presenting vibrant arts events during the month of September for resident audiences and for visitors to the City and the Blackstone River Valley.
