Design Week RI
The third annual Design Week RI is set to officially kick off with on Friday, September 16 with a party at the Arcade in Providence and concludes on September 25.
Design Week RI partners with individuals and organizations to bring more than 35 events including speakers, tours, lunches, panel conversations, parties, awards and more.
September 16
Food Truck Friday
It's Food Truck Fridayt at Roger Williams Park Zoo at Carousel Village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Enjoy great food, live music and a beer garden tonight and every Friday until October 28.
The event is free to attend, but there are nominal fees to ride the carousel, participate in pony rides, or to enjoy the bounce house.

Bring Your Own Improv Family Friendly Comedy Show
Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season at the Warwick Museum of Art. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation.
The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

Don Rickles at Twin River
Comedic legend Don Rickles will be at Twin River on Saturday night.
Rickles frequently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson as well as the Late Show with David Letterman and also The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast in 1973.
He also made appearances on shows such as The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Munsters, The Addams Family, The Mothers-in-Law, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, The Andy Griffith Show and I Dream of Jeannie.

Brown vs. Bryant at Bryant University
The Brown Bears visit the Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. looking to avenge last seasons loss to Bryant.
Meanwhile, Bryant will be looking to get back on track after a loss last week to Montana State.

Body Worlds Vital at RI Convention Center
BODY WORLDS Vital celebrates the potential of the human body and the body in motion. Featuring authentic human bodies, the exhibition shows the body in health, distress, and disease. These detailed anatomical studies, compositions, and representations allow visitors a penetrating gaze at what lies beneath the skin.

CVS Health Downtown 5k
The CVS Health Downtown 5k is set to take place on Sunday and will feature five 2016 Rio Game Olympic participants.
The race begins at 11 a.m. in front of the RI Statehouse on Francis Street.

Newport Wooden boat Show & Newport International Boat Show
The show recurs daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 13 Bowens Wharf in Newport.
Attendees will see an array of wooden boats in the water at Bowen's Ferry Landing marina this September.

Pawtucket Arts Festival
The Pawtucket Arts Festival in Bristol is in its second weekend of action and you don't want to miss out.The festival runs through September 25.
The festival celebrates creative and cultural life in the City of Pawtucket by presenting vibrant arts events during the month of September for resident audiences and for visitors to the City and the Blackstone River Valley.

The 29th annual Apple Festival will take place at Johnston Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
