Spend a fast-and-furious two hours with America’s drive-in movie critic as he uses more than 200 clips and stills to review the history of rednecks in America as told through the classics of both grindhouse and mainstream movies.

An Evening with Robyn Hitchcock at Columbus Theatre
Robyn Hitchcock is one of England’s most enduring contemporary singer/songwriters and live performers. A surrealist poet, talented guitarist, cult artist, and musician’s musician, Hitchcock is among alternative rock’s father figures and is the closest thing the genre has to a Bob Dylan (not coincidentally his biggest musical inspiration).
Since founding the art-rock band The Soft Boys in 1976, Robyn has recorded more than 20 albums as well as starred in ‘Storefront Hitchcock’ an in concert film recorded in New York and directed by Jonathan Demme.
The show begins at 7 p.m.

PC Basketball vs Penn at Dunkin' Donuts Center
The Providence College Friars men’s basketball team is back in action on Saturday afternoon when they host the University of Pennsylvania at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.
The Friars are 4-1 on the season following a win over Merrimack earlier this week.
This will be PC’s last home game before they head to California for the Wooden Legacy Tournament.
Game time is set for 4 p.m.

Check out Anthony Sanders at Rhode Island Fashion Week this weekend at Providence Career & Technical Academy.
Sanders is the owner of the custom bow tie company “Be-Woke Enterprises.”
Sanders joined GoLocal LIVE earlier this year.

Adam Ezra Group at Greenwich Odeum
The Adam Ezra Group (AEG) is constantly on the road, often devoting their time to local charities and always going out of their way to connect with fans.
For their most recent release, Hurricane Wind (2017), the AEG fanbase turned the full power of its collective hurricane wind outward, and shared the music for free with over 5000 people over the course of two weeks.

Blackstone Valley Polar Express at Woonsocket Train Depot
Inspired by Chris Van Allsburg's Christmas classic, this family favorite becomes reality during a 3-hour event that includes a 90-minute excursion on a real-life train with a reading of the classic children’s story, sing-a-longs, games, hot chocolate served in a collectible souvenir mug, delicious cookies, games, and a special visit from Santa where he personally delivers the first gift of Christmas to every child.
After we return to the depot from our train ride to view the North Pole, stay for a complementary photo with Santa.

The Made On Honor Market returns for all of your holiday shopping needs at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence. We’ll be showcasing more than 100 of our favorite small businesses, makers, and artists from both here in Rhode Island and all around the country.
