Sojourner House’s 9th Annual Masquerade Ball at Graduate Providence
The Sojourner House will host their ninth annual Masquerade Ball on Friday at the Graduate Providence.
The event will be emceed by LuLu Locks, and will offer heavy hors d'oeuvres, swing dancing, a cocktail hour, and a cash bar.
Rhode Island Food Fights will once again host a cake competition featuring cakes created by local bakeries and inspired by the Ball theme.
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards supporting programs and services dedicated to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
The Ball begins at 7 p.m.

RI Philharmonic Orchestra Presents: Open Rehearsal 2 at The Vets
Pianist Anne-Marie McDermott joins the RI Philharmonic for a rehearsal of their November 16th concert program.
Get a glimpse at what it takes to get the Orchestra to sound so good!

The Who Tribute at Courthouse Center for the Arts
Revered for performing Who songs and entire albums exactly as they were originally recorded, Bargain provides an experience that leaves audiences truly believing that they are witnessing an actual Who concert from the 1970’s.
Fans can expect to hear such legendary tracks as “Pinball Wizard”, “Behind Blue Eyes”, and “My Generation”, along with timeless rock anthems such as “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “Baba O Riley (aka “Teenage Wasteland”).

Save the Bay Seal Tour at Viking Marina
Take a 90-minute scenic ride with Save The Bay down the Pawcatuck River into Little Narragansett Bay for peaceful views of beautiful fall foliage and a glimpse of some of our winter harbor seal visitors as they rest on rocks and shorelines.

Mandolin Orange’s music radiates a mysterious warmth —their songs feel like whispered secrets, one hand cupped to your ear.

The Columbus Film Club proudly presents a screening of One Sings, The Other Doesn't.
Agnès Varda’s unsung feminist anthem is both a buoyant chronicle of a transformative friendship and an empowering vision of universal sisterhood. When seventeen-year-old Pauline (Valérie Mairesse) helps struggling mother of two Suzanne (Thérèse Liotard) procure the money for an abortion, a deep bond forms between the two, one that endures over the course of more than a decade as each searches for her place in the world—encountering the dawning of the women’s movement, dreamy boho musical numbers, and an Iranian adventure along the way.
