Nick Kroll at Columbus Theatre
The Columbus Cooperative proudly presents comedian Nick Kroll.
Nick Kroll is an actor, writer and producer. He most recently co-created and voiced numerous roles on the Netflix animated series BIG MOUTH, which has been heralded by the Hollywood Reporter as “sweet, progressive and breathtakingly filthy,” and was nominated for an Annie Award for “Best General Audience Animated Television/Broadcast Production.”
Nick can next be heard in SECRET LIFE OF PETS 2 set to be released in June 2019, and as ‘Uncle Fester’ in MGM’s THE ADDAMS FAMILY set to be released in October 2019.

The Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series at River Island Art Park
GRAMMY-winning guitarist Luther Johnson is blues rock royalty. Hailing from the Chicago music scene, Johnson developed the ‘West Side’ guitar style and has shared the stage with Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton.
The event goes from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

John Mayer at the Dunkin' Donuts Center
Mayer’s 2019 World Tour launches in March in New Zealand and Australia and then heads to Asia through April. Known for numerous massive hits, such as last year’s “New Light,” “Gravity,” “Love on the Weekend,” “Heartbreak Warfare,” “Daughters,” “Waiting on the World to Change,” “Your Body Is a Wonderland,” and many more, these “Evening with John Mayer” concerts will feature two sets of music spanning his entire recording career.
The concert begins at 7 p.m.
There is no opening act.

WaterFire Providence
A full WaterFire is a multisensory experience that has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city.
This series of bonfires, installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence, entices with aromatic wood smoke, flickering firelight, and enchanting music.
The lighting starts at sunset.

Newsies at Theatre by the Sea
Bill Hanney is excited to present the Rhode Island professional premiere of Disney’s Newsies. Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy, and leader of a band of teenaged “newsies.”
When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right

This concert is the culmination of RPM Voices’ annual two-week Summer Choral & Gospel Music workshops. Workshops are open to anyone who has a desire to sing and wishes to learn more about the folk traditions and cultural expressions as preserved through African-American choral music.
