Providence College has finally signed a big man from the transfer portal

The Friars have landed Samson Aletan — a 6’10” center.

He only scored 7.8 PPG and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Under Hodgson, the Friars have signed five guards. SEE BELOW

According to his Yale bio: he "played and started in 29 games for Yale…averaging 25.9 minutes per game…Led the squad with 41 blocks….Tallied double figures in 11 games…Had 17 games tallying 5+ rebounds including three with double digits…Had 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting against Rhode Island…Had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic against UAlbany…Notched 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds at home against Columbia…Had a strong performance with a double-double of 13 points and a career high 14 rebounds at Howard…Notched 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting home vs. Princeton…Grabbed nine rebounds in the NIT First Round against UNCW."
