The Nutcracker at PPAC
Christmas is only a week away and if you are not in the holiday spirit yet, seeing the Nutcracker on its opening night at PPAC will put you there.
The Christmas classic is at PPAC for this weekend only so do not miss out.

Stargazing Nights at Frosty Drew Observatory
Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown hosts Stargazing Nights and it is the place to be for all your astronomy needs. They are open every Friday night at 6 p.m. with live views of the night sky.
The observatory closes around midnight.
The cost is FREE.

SNL's Jim Breuer at Comedy Connection
Saturday Night Live's Jim Breuer is taking his stand-up comedy routine to the Comedy Connection in East Providence.
He was named one of the 100 greatest stand-ups of all time by Comedy Central and has over 20 years of experience with stars like Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Denis Leary and others.
Breuer will perform from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with the cost of admission being $30.

Visit the Linden Place mansion and check out their amazing display of holiday decorations that will make you want to go home and decorate your own house even more.

Wagner vs. PC
After a week off for final exams, the Providence College Friars men's basketball team returns to action on Saturday when they Wagner at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
Providence is 8-2 on the season and has only two non-conference home games remaining before Big East play begins.
Tip-off is set for noon.

The Train to Santa's Workshop
Go visit Santa before he loads up his sleigh and goes for his annual journey around the world delivering presents to those on the nice list.
The train leaves from the Newport and Narraganset Railroad Co. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m.

Christmas Village at Purple Cat Winery
The Christmas festivities continue at the Purple Cat Winery as their 2nd annual Christmas Village is once again hosting a full FREE weekend of holiday activities with Sunday, December 18 being the final day.
The village hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

However, when three ghosts pay him a visit, Scrooge is given the chance to examine his life.
