A Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep

Trinity Rep continues its four-decade long tradition of producing Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” helmed by director Mark Valdez.

As is the company’s custom, the entire production will be completely new from casting to design and theatrical magic. This past season’s production became the highest selling show in Trinity Rep history.

Parents and children can join our storytellers twice each week for the ongoing Story Time event lasting approx. 30 minutes. This event is best suited for children 6 months–6 years old.

Polar Express Train Ride at Blackstone Valley Train Depot

Your trip includes a 90-minute excursion on a real-life train that is filled with a reading of the classic children’s story, sing-a-longs, hot chocolate served in a souvenir mug, delicious cookies, games, and a special visit from Santa where he personally delivers the first gift of Christmas to every child.

After we return from our trip to view the North Pole, stay for a photo with Santa on his sleigh.

Christmas At Blithewold

Blithewold’s decorators volunteer their time and talents to develop a new theme each Christmas that explores the interests of the Van Wickle family during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This year, their theme is “A Family Gathering."

Diary entries give them a glimpse into the family’s Christmas and New Year traditions allowing us to recreate the Christmas weekend at Blithewold in 1910.

West Side Caroling at Loie Fuller's

Meet up at Loie Fuller's restaurant (1455 Westminster) from 5-6pm for snacks & socializing and head out at 6 pm sharp to bring holiday cheer to the neighborhood. Ending at 8 pm with milk, warm drink & cookies at Sin bakery and cafe (1413 Westminster) just a block from our starting point.

The event goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Arcade Pop-Up Holiday Market

The spirit of Christmas comes alive with the magic of the Arcade at the holidays. The market will occur every Sunday throughout the month of December, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with food and gift vendors.
