There is plenty going on around the state of Rhode Island to keep you busy this weekend. From festivals to activities and shows, there are events for all ages.
This weekend’s events include the 2nd annual Blackstone Valley Craft & Music Festival, an outdoor block party featuring Senior Discount and Badfish, the Dell Technologies Tennis Hall of Fame Open and much more.

Death at Sea: A Murder Mystery Specialty Cruise at Bowen’s Wharf
"Step aboard the Northeastern and join an elite secret society that controls the world's governments, known as "The Cabal." Badfish + Senior Discount Outdoor Block Party at the Whiskey Republic
Sublime Tribute band Badfish returns to Providence for a waterfront block party outside of the Whiskey Republic, to celebrate with Senior Discount for their album release.
Senior Discount is billed as a pop-punk band, which Chuck Staton describes as along the lines of Green Day and Blink-182.
The band has won numerous awards in the New England area, with both the Providence Phoenix and Motif Magazine naming them the Best Punk/Best Pop-Punk Band two times each, and has been part of the WBRU Rock Hunt.

The Time Capsule in Cranston is its first all records bargain outlet beginning this weekend and running through July 29.
"We have thousands of SEALED and opened Albums as well as SEALED and open 12" singles. We put out over 170 crates of LP's and 12" singles all for just $1 each to blow out. We also have thousands of 45s we are liquidating at 3 for $1," said the Time Capsule on their Facebook Page.
The Time Capsule is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
2nd Annual Blackstone Valley Craft & Music Festival at River Island Art Park
There will be 45 local art and craft exhibitors bringing an interactive shopping experience, with activities, do-it-yourself workshops, and demonstrations. Plus local businesses exhibiting their wares and services
They will also have live entertainment with dance and music of all genres that will celebrate and unify the art & culture experience.

Tales of the Slave Trade Walking Tour at Linden Place Mansion
Linden Place Mansion will host a walking tour focused specifically on Bristol’s DeWolf Family and their involvement in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
The tour beings at Linden Place Mansion then continues through the center of historic Bristol and down to the waterfront of Thames Street, pointing out significant sites tied to Bristol’s lengthy and profitable involvement in the slave trade. The tour ends at the historic DeWolf Tavern, once a DeWolf waterfront warehouse where your goers will enjoy a rum cocktail.
The 7th annual Ocean State ParaCon at Assembly Theater in Harrisville will feature some of the best and brightest from the paranormal TV and literature worlds including Jack Kenna (pictured), Tiffany Rice and more.
This two-day event will include: authors, artists, crafts, psychic readings, food and many local and national celebrities.
