90 Youth Football Helmets Stolen from Providence Parks Storage Facility

 

Providence Police are investigating the theft of approximately 90 youth football helmets from the storage facility at Davis Park on Chalkstone Avenue.

The Parks Department notified the Police of the break-in.

 

According to the police, the storage facility's lock was sawn off.

 

The cost of each helmet is estimated at $120. The total value is believed to be in excess of $12,000.

 

Police are investigating.
