UPDATED: Three Shot in Providence, Two in Critical Condition

Three men were shot on Thursday night in Providence.
The shooting took place in the Chad Brown housing project.
Police were dispatched to June Street and Pumgansett Street.

Other Recent Chad Brown Area Shootings - Child Killed in April
On July 21, shortly before 6 AM Friday morning, police responded to Chad Brown at March Street for a report of shots fired.
Police said they spoke with witnesses who said they had heard gunshots and that a car fled the scene at high rate of speed.
According to police, more than a dozen shell casings were found at the scene, and multiple vehicles were found to have been struck by bullets.
On April 25, shortly after 1 AM, police responded to March Street off of Douglas Avenue for a report of shots fired.
A woman on the scene told police she and another woman had been sitting inside a car when a sedan with tinted windows pulled up and open fired.
When the police arrived, they encountered one woman who was shot; the victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
March Street is in the Chad Brown area. It is the same street in which a 15-year-old was shot and killed less than two weeks ago.
The Chad Brown housing project has been the location for a number of shooting this year. Chad Brown is a post-World War II housing project which was completed in 1951.
