VIDEO: Local Vendors at Track 15 for Waterfire This Friday - And Outdoor Movies Coming on Mondays
The summer fun continues at Track 15, Providence’s downtown food hall dining and event destination, with special weekend activities - as well as outdoor movies starting up Monday nights on July 27.
GoLocalProv News Editor Kate Nagle caught up with Track 15’s Alison Mountford to discuss free and family-friendly opportunities on tap, including the RI Night Market on Friday, July 17, in conjunction with a Waterfire lighting.

Over 20 local artisan vendors will be on display
“The Basin Tunnel to WaterFire and House of Portugal will be activated. WaterFire Art and the Summer of Soccer have a special evening planned to celebrate the world’s soccer,” says Mountford. “A special torch parade, and plenty of musical and other cultural celebrations will take place in the area.”

On Monday, July 27, movie fun begins.
“Each week for the rest of the summer weather, we’re showing a different movie on our outdoor TV. Bring a blanket or chairs for the lawn, or use our patio seating. Build a picnic dinner from our delicious restaurants and bar,” says Mountford. “Show time is 6 PM.”
Track 15 encourages folks to check Instagram to see what movie is playing.
“They are ‘family friendly’ but vetted by an Xennial parent who is tired of watching kid movies, they’re the family friendly movies of the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s and more recent movies that are fun for adults too,” said Mountford.
