Taylor Swift Madison Square Garden Wedding Rumors Heat Up - Venue Permit Pulled, According to Reports

After part-time Rhode Islander Taylor Swift was recently hosting guests at her Watch Hill mansion, speculation has continued to mount as to when - and where - she will marry fiancé Travis Kelce.

 

Rhode Island does not look to be the site of the wedding.

On Wednesday, the New York Times reported that, amid rumors the wedding will take place at Madison Square Garden on the July 4th weekend, a permit for an event at the location has been filed.

 

“A permit was filed with New York City to close the streets around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to three people who have knowledge of the matter. Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, according to a person told of the accommodations,” reported the NYT.

 

“A fourth person, a city official who was briefed on the preparations, said it more bluntly: Madison Square Garden is planning to host the wedding festivities on July 3,” The Times continued.
