Horror author Stephen King took a swipe at Rhode Island on Wednesday, when he Tweeted that he thought it has little vacation value.

Rhode Island is a top tourism destination in not just the country, but world.

From Newport to Block Island to Watch Hill, celebrities like Taylor Swift and Jay Leno and even Judge Judy have homes in the Ocean State.

Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lawrence opt to get married in Rhode Island — not elsewhere.

But horror author King — who hails from Maine — thought Rhode Island was a curious choice for a prize on The Price is Right on Wednesday.

The writer, who is a prolific Tweeter with 6.5 million followers, let his fingers do the talking.

“A prize in today’s THE PRICE IS RIGHT Showcase Round: A trip to Rhode Island. I make no judgements, but what happened to Aruba?” he Tweeted.

The responses to King's Tweet ranged from hilarious to truly frightening.

One Tweeter Briana Morgan wrote, “I’m still not convinced Rhode Island exists."

Another who responded to King's Tweet was geographically challenged.

“Oh come on Rhode Island isn’t too shabby — [sic] it’s has Mystic Seaport and Newport,” Tweeted Fran Morrissey.

Another on Twitter pointed out the geographic error.

“Mystic’s over the border in CT and Newport is way overrated,’ Tweeted Kris “CWS-140.” “We do have Woonsocket though.”
