Watch a thrilling polo match, drive a BMW, and eat some lobster at the Newport International Polo Series this weekend.

This weekend is full of concerts and celebrations all over Rhode Island, and GoLocalProv has the scoop on all the festivities.

Newport International Polo Series: USA vs. Italy, Portsmouth

Saturday  Come support your country as USA takes on Italy in an international polo match. Some of Italy’s best polo players will make their way over to America for this match that should be a classic.

During the match BMW is offering test drives of their latest models and afterwards a trophy will be presented and a New England Lobster bake at night. Test drives: 1-4 pm, the polo match: 5 pm. 715 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Admission: $12-$50. Click here for more information.

Newport Jazz Festival, Newport

Friday-Sunday  Make sure you check out the Newport Jazz Festival this weekend for some quality music. This year’s lineup includes Natalie Cole, Herbie Hancock, Dee Alexander and much more. The festival lasts all weekend, starting at the International Tennis Hall of fame on Friday and finishing at Fort Adams State Park on Saturday and Sunday. Food venders will also be there to sell food and drinks. Friday: 6:30 pm, Sat/Sun: 10 am. 29th Annual Charlestown Chamber of Commerce Seafood Festival, Charlestown

Friday-Sunday  Don’t forget to go to the 29th Annual Charlestown Chamber of Commerce Seafood Festival for the best seafood Rhode Island has to offer. This festival has great food, amusements rides, fireworks, and was even voted as one of the top 100 best events in North America by the American Tour Bus Association. Under the Sun Tour, Newport

Sunday  This Sunday the Under the Sun Tour is bringing the 90’s back to Providence. This special concert features Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Vertical Horizon and more. Eric André from Adult Swim, East Providence

Friday   Famous comedian Eric André is coming to Rhode Island to perform for one night only. Eric has been doing stand-up since 2004 and has appeared on NBC, Comedy Central, and HBO. He was also a finalist in NBC’s Stand up for Diversity and currently has a show on Adult Swim called the Eric André Show. This comedy show is not to be missed! 7 pm. 39 Warren Ave, East Providence.
