It's a sign that spring will yield soon to summer--Misquamicut SpringFest.

Misquamicut SpringFest

Friday-Sunday A spring classic, and for good reason. World class carnival and amusements, international food court, petting zoo, games, international music headliners and more! Tiverton Four Corners Spring "Nestival"

Saturday-Sunday Tiverton Four Corners will be hosting a Spring "Nestival" on Mother's Day Weekend to benefit the Tiverton Food Pantry. To participate donate $1, pick a prize filled egg and win! The eggs will be filled with prizes from participating retailers located in the Four Corners. So come to the historic village of Tiverton Four Corners Mother's Day Weekend for fun and get goodies for just $1. 10am-5pm, Tiverton Four Corners, 3852 Main Rd, Tiverton. Grand opening, The Rhody Center for World Music and Dance

Enjoy the grand opening of the Rhody Center for World Music and Dance in Pawtucket.

Saturday Get ready to move... the Rhody Center for World Music and Dance is opening its doors this weekend with free classes, refreshments, teacher demonstrations, and loads of fun. Free admission! Check out: 10:00 Free Bollywood dancing class; 11:30 Free raks sharqi (belly dancing) class; 1:00 Free world music class for kids ; 2:30 Free West African music class; 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Teacher demonstrations; 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (or so): Open dance floor. 172 Exchange Street (in the Pawtucket Armory), Pawtucket. Mother's Day at Providence Children's Museum

Sunday Little ones will want to bring mom for a day of creative play on Sunday, when admission is free all day for moms and grandmoms! Kids can create cards and collages using an array of colorful papers in Discovery Studio, the Museum's hands-on art and science exploration space, from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Museum open until 6pm. Raid on Spell Hall-1st Annual Nathanael Greene Homestead Reenactment 

Saturday-Sunday Revolutionary War reenactors and living historians recreate an authentic military encampment and battle on the grounds of Spell Hall the historic General Nathanael Greene Homestead, home of George Washington's most trusted general. See camp life, musket and cannon demonstrations, tour General Greene's 1770 Homestead and watch Continental Troops defend Spell Hall from a British raiding party. 10am-5pm, Adults-$6 Children & Seniors $4, Gen.
