It was a game the University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team was supposed to win.

The Rams had the home court, Duquesne was just 2-5 in the Atlantic 10 coming into Kingston, and URI even grabbed the early lead.

But, the Dukes guard Dae Dae Grant matched his career high with seven 3-point baskets. He also was 6-for-6 from the line.

Now, Duquesne is 13-8 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

The Rams are now 10-12 and 4-5 in the A-10.

The Rams were led by David Green, who had his third consecutive 20-point game. He also had five rebounds.

URI Guard Jaden House was the only other Ram in double figures, finishing with 17 points and four boards.

After starting the game 2-for-8 at the free throw line, the Rams made their final 12 attempts and ended the game 14-of-20 at the line.

URI outscored Duquesne 40-26 in the paint.
