URI had balanced scoring led by Jaden House’s 19 points.

David Green and Cam Estevez each added 15 points, and Luis Kortright had 14 points.

Green only recently became eligible to play after a federal court judge ruled that the NCAA’s ban on double transfers was illegal.

Out of high school, Green committed to Hofstra University and played for one year there. He then, transferred to Louisiana State in 2021, where he had a strong season coming off the bench. He was limited to six games in 2022-23 due to injuries.

David Fuchs led the Rams with 12 rebounds.

URI is now 6-7 on the season, and the Huskies fall to 5-8.

This was URI’s last out of conference game. They open Atlantic-10 action on Wednesday at home against St. Joseph.

Last season, the Rams were 4-8 going into conference play.
