Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. - Albert Einstein

Regardless of how you read the definition, if you invest time and effort into doing ANYTHING you should see results fairy quickly and often.

Time is our most valuable resource, because once it's spent, it's gone.

There are no refunds, and we all get the same limited amount.

24 hours a day is all we get so why waste it.

To do so is pure insanity.

Here’s why:

I was flipping through a digital calendar the other day while filling out a Docu-Sign form and accidentally scrolled forward instead of backwards to insert my birthdate.

It spun fast and took me to the year 2047 which means that I will be 79 years old.

Holy shit, I said to myself, that’s not that far away, and I began to assess my mortality for a second.

I also realized the value of time and came to the conclusion that it’s limited, and nobody knows how much we have left in the bank.

Then I asked myself, will I even see 2047, and how can I capitalize the time I have left.

One answer was to stop wasting it.

Another was to be grateful for every minute, and another was…. how can I be the best version of myself during the remainder of this brief stay on earth?

Say you work out day after day, sweat gallons a week, wake up sore, tired and fatigued, and can't see changes in your physique then what you are doing is wasting time, and in my opinion, insane. Your intentions are great, however in order to become the best version of yourself physically, you need to see results.

If you own a business, and you keep dumping all your money and investing all you time into making it profitable and you still lose money every year, shouldn't you realize that what you are doing is a waste of time and make a change? Again, I give you an A+ for effort, but effort won’t help you eat or pay the rent.

So how are some ways we can stop wasting time, become the best versions of ourselves, and capitalize on what time we have left?

Here are 2 things to get you started:

1. Hire a coach for guidance

Put your ego on a shelf and realize we can't be good at everything.

When you enter a field or take on a certain task that you are not completely knowledgeable about, you need to seek an expert.

What can a GOOD coach do for you?

            •          motivate you to be the best you can be, by pushing you out of your comfort zone and not letting you make excuses.

            •          protect you from harm, by knowing the proper precautions to take.

            •          hold you accountable for your actions.

            •          make it difficult for you to fail by being knowledgeable and experienced in their field.

            •          give you direction and puts you on the path to productivity and that will prevent you from wasting time.

When you work out at Providence Fit Body Boot Camp you will be coached by the best in the business, using all the steps I have mentioned above. By doing so you will eliminate all the guess work associated with fitness and be able to reach your goal in the most safe and efficient way.

I am seasoned and knowledgeable in the health and  fitness field, but not very savvy when it comes to business and systems, so when the time came for me to open my own fitness facility, I joined the Fit Body Boot Camp franchise.

I did this because not only is it a great concept, but because I have support and coaches that are accessible and give me direction.

Without this, I would have wasted serious amounts of time and money by guessing or using trial and error tactics.

I don't know about you, but at 52 years old, I have neither time nor money to waste, so I am trusting my coaches to help me through my journey, by applying the knowledge, tactics and marching orders they give me to run my business.

I have been involved in this since March 2014, and have gained great insight, direction and motivation that is giving me the confidence to chase my dream and reach my goals of helping hundreds of people reach theirs more efficiently.

2. Plan ahead

If you fail to plan, plan to fail

Why Plan?

            •          you get a roadmap of where you need to go.

            •          you eliminate stress and anxiety

            •          you are always ready for what’s next

            •          you save time

My biggest mistake in business was not having a plan and jumping in headfirst. You know the term ready, aim fire? Well, I was ready, but I fired before I aimed and that cost me some time and energy that could have been avoided.

The same holds true when you don’t plan your day by prepping meals and scheduling your workouts.

You wing it when you get hungry, and you miss workouts because you don’t intentionally schedule them in your calendar.

That will let distractions sidetrack you, making it more difficult to reach your goals.

The more prepared you are the less it will stress you out. We get anxiety when we don’t have a plan, and waste time, so avoid unnecessary stress throughout your day, and invest the time to map out your tasks and goals.

My best piece of fitness advice to you is to join Providence Fit Body Boot Camp and let one of our amazing coaches guide you through your journey. You will reach your destination in a fraction of the time and see results for all your hard work.

Quit wasting time and stop the insanity.
