“PATRIARCA pointed out that the alcohol market is very profitable at the present time. He state that only a year ago a gallon of alcohol is between $5-$6. Today, the price on a gallon of alcohol is between $8 and $10. PATRIARCA said that he would attempt to line three or four fellows up in order to buy sugar and would recontact BIANCO at a later date to advise him what progress has been made in this regard,” according to FBI documents.

“Attorney REDACTED represents the Boston Herald-Traveler Corp. and has recently taken depositions from PATRIARCA concerning his income from various sources. PATRIARCA concerning his income from various sources. PATRIARCA is of the opinion they they will subpoena all of the individuals who furnished him money as income and will also subpoena JOSEPH VALACHI and WALTER E. STONE, Head of the Rhode Island State Police.  

PATRIARCA indicated that he is desirous of ‘going all the way’ with this suit. He has heard through CHARLES IANELLO, Massachusetts Representative of Roxbury, Mass., that the Boston Herald-Traveler indicated they might subpoena all the top hoodlums throughout the country in an effort to establish PATRIARCA’s connection with them.”

 

PAGE 72 “High Class” crap game being established in Providence to cater to wealthy and exclusive clientele — Patriarca is to receive a cut from this game.

 

PAGE 73 Patriarca’s organization providing $50,000 and another $50,000 from JAMES HOFFA to fund the organization of Teamsters at the General Dynamics Shipyard in Quincy.

 

PAGE 75 Woman to run high class craps game on Lancaster Street [Avenue] in her finished basement. “The woman stated that she has four or five high-class girls available, and it is to be a crap game attended by only wealthy people, such as doctors, lawyers, etc.”

 

PAGE 80 Bodies of Paul Colicci and Vincent Bisesi both of Providence are found in a car in the parking lot of the Dolphin Motel in Quincy, MA.
