Police were dispatched to the Santander Bank at 551 North Main Street for a hold-up alarm shortly before 2:30 PM on Tuesday.

Upon arrival, police met with a bank teller who told police that the suspect was a white male with a black jacket, black pants, gray shoes, blue/green knit hat, dark-colored hair, sunglasses with red frame and wearing black gloves.

The teller told police the suspect passed a note demanding money.

The teller, who said no weapon was seen or mentioned, handed him approximately $775 without a dye pack or tracker.

The suspect then reportedly left the bank and entered a dark-colored Volkswagen 4-Door Jetta on the passenger side and left the area in an unknown direction.

The note was seized by police.
