Police Identify Man Shot and Killed in Providence Overnight—Seeking More Information

A man was shot and killed in Providence overnight -- and police are asking the public if they have additional information.
Latest Homicide
On Monday morning at approximately 3:15 a.m., Providence Police responded to Roger Williams Green for a report of shots fired.
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTUpon arrival, police found an unresponsive male in the courtyard who was later identified as Carl Bryant, age 33. Bryant was pronounced deceased on scene.
A second victim was located in an apartment who was struck by a stray round, identified as Julie Boyd, age 50. Boyd was transported to RI Hospital for a gunshot wound to the arm.
Bryant is believed to live in Providence, however he has addresses in Brockton and Pennsylvania as well.
