Kick off the start of the fall season along the Newport waterfront at the inaugural Harbor Lights Newport.
Stroll, shop and dine along the illuminated waterfront in Newport decorated with colorful lights and decor.

The Elms, Rosecliff & Marble House
Festival Highlights:
- Two-day Grand Tasting with hundreds of wines under the big tents on the lawn of Marble House
- Celebrity chef appearances and cooking demonstrations by national, regional and local chefs
- Educational seminars with leading food and wine experts
- Wine & Rosecliff Gala

International Coastal Clean-Up at Third Beach
Come participate in the International Coastal Cleanup at Third Beach in Middletown with Save The Bay and Norman Bird Sanctuary.
Participants will pick up trash and record what we find on data sheets. The resulting data will be included in the Ocean Conservancy's annual report on marine debris.
Meet at Third Beach's Navy Lot.

The Curious Childhood Of Wanton Chase Book Signing at Rose Island Lighthouse
Author Lynne Heinzmann will be on Rose Island to sign her new book, The Curious Childhood of Wanton Chase.
The book is based on one of Rose Island's more famous child residents. Come learn about Wanton's childhood adventures as a grandson of a lighthouse keeper in this delightfully illustrated book. Books will be available for purchase.

Jamestown Rhode Races at Fort Getty Pavilion
The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday.
The event is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England.
The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.
The Half Marathon will start at 7 am.

The Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Touro Park
The Moving Wall is a two hundred forty-three feet long replica, about half the size of the original on the National Mall.
The replica has a unique modular design that allows for portability. It has been touring the cities and towns across the US for 34 years leaving an imprint of education, healing, acknowledgment, and inspiration.
