PAGE 43 Offer to sell Patriarca 850 cases of cigarettes from an unknown truck driver. Patriarca is worried that the price is so low that it is a set-up and instructs his men to get additional information.

 

PAGE 44 “PATRIARCA told TAMELO that REDACTED of Connecticut had contacted SAUL FRIEDMAN and furnished him a lot of information relative to VALACHI’s possible testimony. He claimed that REDACTED told him that VALACHI, according to the lawyer (name unknown) would testify that he did not know RAYMOND PATRIARCA.”

 

PAGE 46 Union leader in Fall River asks Patriarca to intervene in a dispute with the President of Walter Marshall Spinning Mills. Patriarca says his lawyer Saul Friedman probably has a financial interest in the company and refuses to assist.

 

PAGE 58 B.A. Dario, the head of Lincoln Downs Race Track is holding 49% of the stock of the Berkshire Downs Race Track. 241/2 of this stock belongs to Patriarca and his associated. “He (Patriarca) pointed out that their ‘beef’ is with B.A. DARIO and that the news owners of the track should not be contacted.”

 

PAGE 58 Patriarca cancels their plans to break someones’ legs.

 

PAGE 60 RI State official and political corruption

“REDACTED arranged with an unknown political figure in the State of Rhode Island to enter into an agreement with him whereby the political figure would obtain a contract with the State to erect a large warehouse allegedly costing $1,000,000 to erect. REDACTED would erect same for approximately $800,000 and would split the $200,000 with the political figure.”

“This informant for the past three months has furnished a considerable amount of information concerning the REDACTED brothers feud with REDACTED of Somerville, Mass. This feud has resulted in the direct or indirect killings of approximately 20 individuals, and it appears that REDACTED is marked for assassination.”

PATRIARCA is very critical of COIA for bringing his name into the elections. He pointed out that he had nothing whatsoever to do with the Union or with PAUL DE FALCO.
