NEW: Snow Expected to Hit Rhode Island on Saturday
Snow is on the way to Rhode Island.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), snow is likely to hit Rhode Island after 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18.
As of Wednesday afternoon, NWS has not listed the amount of snow expected.

NWS reports that the snow is likely to change to rain after 10 p.m on Saturday night.

Snow likely, mainly after 4 pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
Saturday Night
Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 10 p.m. Low around 31. South wind 8 to 11 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90%.
Sunday
Partly sunny, with a high near 41.
